3-day city trip
Day 1 – Arrival and welcome in Mechelen
Upon arrival the group receives a warm welcome at the hotel. After check-in we host a welcome drink on one of the hotel’s terraces to get in the right mood.
In the evening, we can arrange a “Trip Down Culinary Lane” dinner, a sharing dining concept that gives you the opportunity to explore the Belgian cuisine all together. After dinner a pub quiz can be added for some extra fun and team spirit.
Day 2 – Discovering the local flavours of Mechelen
After a sumptuous breakfast buffet, we begin the day with a cultural discovery tour. While walking through picturesque streets, you will learn all about the rich history of Mechelen. We will end the morning with a beer-and-chocolate tasting, a perfect mix of Belgian delights!
Just steps from the Vismarkt, a Food-sharing Experience provides lunch, letting you sample local products in a relaxed setting.
In the afternoon, a boat trip on the Dijle River gives you the opportunity to see the city from the waterside and admire the historic riverside buildings. Those seeking for more action can climb the St. Rumbold’s Tower together or tackle one of the city’s challenging escape rooms were teamwork and working together are essential.
After the activities there is some leisure time. Visit the Vleeshalle, Mechelen’s culinary hotspot, taste local beers at Het Anker, relax in the bars around the Vismarkt or scroll along the shops of Onze-Lieve-Vrouwestraat.
The day concludes with a delicious three-course dinner in a former brewery building overlooking the Dijle River.
Day 3 – Breakfast and departure
After the breakfast buffet it is time to head home with the memories of an inspiring and enjoyable stay in Mechelen.
