Within the complex, you’ll find Jewel, a former car park that has been transformed into an impressive green atrium featuring a gigantic indoor waterfall, surrounded by palm trees and orchids.

• Culture and colourful neighbourhoods
  Explore neighbourhoods such as Little India, Kampong Glam and Chinatown with a local guide; each has its own unique atmosphere, colourful buildings and stunning murals. Visit a Buddhist temple, sample local delicacies and enjoy a demonstration of Teh Tarik (‘pulled tea’), where tea is poured in a special way. Round off the evening in the charming Haji Lane, full of outdoor cafés and atmospheric lighting.

• Nature in the heart of the city
  Stroll through Gardens by the Bay, where the iconic Supertrees (steel structures up to fifty metres high, covered with over a hundred thousand plants) come to life in the evening during an enchanting light show set to classical music. Visit the two biodomes, the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest; gigantic greenhouses filled with exotic plants, flowers and a massive waterfall.

• Skyline and iconic landmarks
  Take a bumboat ride across Marina Bay for a magnificent view of the ArtScience Museum, the Merlion and the impressive skyline. Admire these highlights on a guided bike tour or from high above on the 165-metre-high Ferris wheel, the Singapore Flyer. Next, visit Singapore’s most iconic building, Marina Bay Sands, for a panoramic view of the entire city. If you’re staying at the hotel, you can make use of the famous infinity pool at a height of 150 metres.

  Be sure not to miss a visit to the city’s many hawker centres, where a huge variety of local dishes are served, or sample the freshly grilled satay on Satay Street in the historic Lau Pa Sat. For a gourmet dinner, dine at one of the city’s many top-class restaurants, where you can enjoy the most delicious dishes from all over the world.
