Belfast in four days – a blend of culture, history and relaxation

Day 1 – Arrival and stay at Galgorm

Fly direct from Amsterdam to Dublin in just 1 hour 40 minutes. On arrival a coach will take you up north, and, while in the coach, a surprise awaits: an Irish banjo player who creates a cheerful mood during the ride. Enjoy the beautiful scenery en route to a luxurious five-star resort only 30 minutes from Belfast, featuring a splendid Thermal Village and several top restaurants. A stay here is pure indulgence.

Day 2 – Discover the city with a Black Cab Tour

For business visitors the Belfast Convention Centre offers excellent facilities with versatile meeting rooms and conference spaces.

A highlight of any visit is the Black Cab Tour through Belfast’s suburbs, where the history between Catholics and Protestants remains visible. Stories told by drivers who lived through the conflict leave a deep impression. After the tour you check into a stylish city-centre hotel with a breathtaking rooftop bar overlooking Belfast. In the evening you enjoy dinner nearby and round off the day with live music in an authentic Irish pub.

Day 3 – Explore Belfast by bike

The morning features a guided cycling tour – an ideal way to see the city’s highlights, including City Hall, St George’s Market and the iconic Albert Memorial Clock. The ride ends at the Titanic Museum, where you experience the celebrated Titanic Experience.

After lunch in the elegant Titanic Hotel you stroll to the neighbouring Titanic Distillery, learn about Irish-whiskey production and finish with a tasting and a delicious whiskey cocktail.

Day 4 – The taste of Belfast

The last morning begins with the Belfast Food Tour, a culinary journey sampling local delicacies and traditional fare—from freshly baked soda bread to artisanal cheeses. After a morning of tasteful discoveries it is time to say farewell.

A direct KLM flight from Belfast International Airport – only 20 minutes from the center – brings you back to Amsterdam, with a mind full of new memories and experiences.
